Registering your CCTV or video doorbell is a great way to help fight crime
If you have a video security system – such as CCTV or a video doorbell – you can register the details with North Yorkshire Police…and help fight crime. Not only will your security camera deter crime and anti-social behaviour, investigators will be able to quickly pinpoint any local cameras that may have captured evidence of a crime, saving everyone’s time. Registering will also make it easier for you to send footage to the police to help catch criminals and stop them offending again.
The more cameras that are registered on the system, the more efficient and effective the police will be. To register send an email to digitalevidence@northyorkshire.police.uk

Where are all the stallholders?
Not many stallholders have booked a stall at the Summer Fair in the Village Hall on Saturday 2 August. Yet it’s only £5 to hire the space and showcase your products and services to residents of Topcliffe and Asenby. It would be great if a few more traders, charities or other organisations were to come forward to help make the day a great success. Please contact Karen Morley on 07736 086369.
The Summer Fair will be on from 10am to 2pm and will include afternoon tea, which will be available for a donation. Funds raised on the day will help support the Village Hall.
Help with Baking: Karen is also hoping that a few kind residents will bake some cakes, savouries or biscuits for the afternoon tea.
