The Asenby Park Fun Run
Sunday 30 June, 2 to 4pm – It is with great excitement that the organisers start a seven-day countdown to the Asenby Park Run. They believe this will be the perfect opportunity for villagers to come together to see the amazing efforts by local volunteers and the Parish Council over the past 12 months that have led to new life being breathed into this important community space. It will also be a perfect opportunity to have a nice day amd maybe meet some friendly old and new faces. There will be lots of games, a fun run for all abilities, a cake stall and of course the obligatory raffle and tombola.
Organisers have been overwhelmed with the generosity of local businesses and residents alike who have donated prizes, from Afternoon Tea for Two at Grantley Hall, to gift vouchers for the Crab & Lobster Restaurant…plus lots more. Tickets for the raffle can be purchased before the event from Stable End, Cundall Road, Asenby until the end of Saturday 29 June…and then on the day at the event. Raffle tickets are priced at £2 each or £8 for a strip of five tickets and it’s cash only.
If it is not convenient for you to call and collect your tickets then please contact Holly Knowles on 07565 199344 with the following details – name, number of tickets required, address for delivery – and arrangements will be made to get the tickets to you. The draw will take place on the day and all those not present will be contacted.
