Topcliffe Ceilidh
There’s only a handful of tickets left at the Post Office, so it’s looking like the ceilidh is going to be a sell-out. If you’ve never been to a ceilidh before then now is your chance to give it a try – and it’s unlikely you’ll be disappointed. It’s great fun, and you don’t need a partner because everyone mixes up. And it’s a chance to meet people and make new friends. If you’re not very nimble on your feet, come along anyway to enjoy the music, a drink and a pulled pork roll with friends.
The organisers – Sarah Barber and Jane Burnett – are enormously grateful to everyone who has generously donated raffle prizes to this event, including:
- The Angel – Sunday lunch for two
- The Swan – £25 voucher
- The Gallery – £25 voucher
- Carol & Jim Shaw and Myra & Malcolm Ealand – A hamper
- The Ritz Cinema, Thirsk – two tickets
- Nicky James at Studio 18 – A cut and blow dry
And many more. So don’t forget to bring some cash for raffle tickets! Also remember it’s a bring your own drinks event.
